when I worked at a car dealership, I was constantly ask to dress more attractively, and wear make up, because we were in a “customer business”. I asked if they’d asked any of the salesmen to dress more attractive, or wear make up to cover zits, wear fake hair to cover bald spots, etc. “Why would we do that?” they replied.
