My family needs feminism because I have a five-year-old son and twins, a boy and a girl, who are almost two.  And I tell my children that they can be anything they want to be, that they can do anything they want to do.  I tell them that if they work hard they can achieve anything their hearts desire.

It wasn’t until I had a daughter that I started to wonder if I was really speaking the truth.

It should be the truth.
