“I need feminism because I should not be told to ‘get some self respect’ if I choose not to wear a bra IN MY OWN HOUSE!”

I’m not going out all day, I’m staying in my pajamas and doing work on the compmuter. I have no reason whatsoever to put an effort into my appearance. Oh wait, yes I do. My older brother wants his lil sis to have “self respect.”

Self respect is me being confident in myself and comfortable in my surroundings (my home) that I don’t need to care about what I look like. I have self respect because I don’t need to conform to our society’s definition of beauty around the people who know me best.
